About this jetty

Havelock Jetty -- at a glance

Havelock Jetty -- renamed Swaraj Dweep Jetty when the central government rechristened the island in 2018 -- is the single point of entry and exit for Havelock. Every passenger ferry, whether private high-speed (Makruzz, Nautika, Green Ocean, ITT Majestic) or a DSS government inter-island vessel, calls here.

The jetty is a short walk or auto-rickshaw ride from Havelock village (#1 area), where most of the island's hotels, dive shops, restaurants and the main market are clustered. Radhanagar Beach (#7) is roughly 12 km away on the west coast -- a 25-minute drive.

Most private sailings arrive in the late morning and depart again by early afternoon, so the jetty is busy in two short windows each day. Outside those windows it is quiet. There is a small ticket counter, a covered waiting area and a taxi/auto stand at the exit.
