Neil Island to Port Blair Ferry

Take a high-speed private ferry from Neil Island Jetty. Three operators sell this sector through our feed -- Makruzz, Nautika and Green Ocean -- with departures from late morning through to the late afternoon. ITT Majestic returned no sailings here on any date we checked.

09:30, on a Nautika sailing that arrives Port Blair at 10:45. That is the earliest departure on any of the nine dates we checked on 2 September 2026, and there is nothing before it -- if you have read about a 7 or 8 AM ferry off Neil, it is not in the live schedule. The last departure is 16:15. September is different again and worth planning around: the earliest is 10:35 and the last is 11:30, checked 3 September 2026 on 6, 14, 15, 22 and 30 September -- the whole day’s service off Neil fits inside those 55 minutes.

Direct, all of them. Checked on 2 September 2026 across nine dates from September to February: 53 sailings, and not one of them was flagged as routed via Havelock. Crossing time is down to the operator rather than the routing -- Makruzz 60 minutes, Nautika 75, Green Ocean 105. Worth knowing because the reverse sector, Port Blair to Neil, is the opposite: there the only ticket on sale goes via Havelock.

Eight on most dates from October -- Makruzz 3, Nautika 3, Green Ocean 2 -- checked on 2 September 2026 across 8 October, 22 October, 10 December, 14 January and 18 February. One sampled date, 12 November, carried six. September is much thinner and steps up just once: two a day on both 6 and 14 September (Nautika 10:35, Makruzz 11:30), then three from 15 September straight through to 30 September as Green Ocean's first vessel joins at 11:00. Its second vessel does not join in September at all -- a full sweep on 11 September 2026, every date from 14 to 30 September, found the sector holds at three throughout, with the eighth-sailing step arriving only on 1 October alongside the wider ramp-up. This page previously said the fourth sailing arrived on 16 September, then on 25 September; all three claims for a September step to four were wrong, and checking the whole run of dates rather than one boundary each time is what caught it. The cheapest seat steps with the first vessel, from ₹1,750 before 15 September to ₹1,050 from the 15th on. Check your own date in the live panel rather than assuming the October pattern.

Bookable fares run from ₹1,050 to ₹3,350, checked on 5 September 2026. Do not plan around the low figure without checking your own date: the ₹1,050 is one class -- Economy -- on one vessel, Green Ocean 1, and it is not on sale on every date. On 5 October, one of twelve dates sampled between October and February, that class was absent altogether and the cheapest seat on the sector was ₹1,450 in Green Ocean 1 Premium.
